Katelyn and Whit

Katelyn and Whit had a beautiful day for their beautiful wedding, held recently at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church.  Although it was very hot and humid, the girls stepped outside for a few photographs under the shady arbor.

The guys really got into some fun shots.

As the mothers were being seated, the excited bride and her father peek in.

The couple exchanged special vows, led by Dr. William Dudley.

All smiles as this happy couple dashes out...

...and hops into their getaway car.

They enjoyed a quick private moment at their reception, held at the Read House Silver Ballroom.  Then they danced away the evening with music provided by the Dexter Thomas Band.

These are two of the most loving and caring young people you would ever want to meet.  I wish them the most happiness in their new life together!

Beautiful voices, filling the air with love and joy!

We didn't know Austin and Susannah before they made their wedding plans. However, from the moment we met them, we loved them. We love their exuberance for life, their love for music, and their love for each other. ...and we do love their hugs they share with us!

They also brought many friends from San Francisco and New York to share their wedding day celebration. (Oh, and most of those friends are vocalists with the San Francisco Opera and the New York Metropolitan Opera, as are Susannah and Austin.) One after another they stepped up and poured out their love for Susannah and Austin through song. Chilling and beautiful! Maid of Honor, Brooke, has just returned from serving in Iraq. She was the best! Never have we seen a harder working and beautiful attendant!

They came back to Susannah's home in Cleveland, TN to share with their families and commit to each other in God's presence. Although they've actually been married (in the eyes of the law) for almost a year, you'd never know it. Austin and Susannah openly and frequently express their love. PDA was everywhere! Even the guests played a part at the reception, ringing bells often in unison, calling for more kisses. No one was disappointed!

Eric and Brittain

Brittain was photographed by the river at Baylor School for her formal portrait and was beautiful in her softly layered and flowing gown.

They couldn't have picked a much hotter day in downtown Chattanooga for their wedding day! But, Brittain was as cool as a cucumber...no pressure, no pressure! All the planning payed off and all went extremely smoothly... from beginning to end.

The ceremony was held at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church... gorgeous (and recently named by the Pope as a Minor Basilica). It is stunning and awe inspiring.

The glass of flaming champagne is a tradition for brides and grooms at Chattanooga Golf and Country Club, mostly powered by Reynard and brandy floated on top. (I don't think I've ever known of a single bride, though, that thought it tasted good!)

Outa here!

Dreams do come true!

After many, many years of knowing each other, Todd and Beth got married!

Todd and Beth's parents all went to college together... and eventually each had babies. Todd and Beth grew up knowing each other as children, as their families moved around the southeast. Their parents continued to spend time together, so Todd and Beth stayed in contact with each.

Years later, and I mean YEARS LATER, they reconnected and found that the time was finally right for them... the time had finally come to join their lives together in marriage.

They chose the Little Brown Church in the Wildwood on Signal Mountain, so full of history and charm. Although it was warm and sultry, their family and guests loved the gorgeous lush setting under the huge Hemlock and Yellow Poplar trees, and there were few empty seats inside or out.

Through tears and joy and with Todd's kids (Savannah, Tori, and Hunter) at their side, they pledged the remainder of their lives to each other.

Beth now has a new family, complete with three of the coolest kids around.

Here's to you, Todd and Beth!

Jeannie Forehand, Master Photographer

I'm very late in posting this!

Jeannie worked very hard through the last few years and earned her Master of
Photography degree at Professional Photographers of America's ImagingUSA2011 Conference in San Antonio, Texas. I was honored to place her Master's medallion around her neck in front of friends and very accomplished associates and colleagues..

How fun to see Jeannie's final certified print hanging in the international exhibition. She was a little more than stressed as judging time approached!

So proud to call Jeannie my wife and business partner!

With friends, Sam and Patricia (great and accomplished mentors).

And some tourism... at the Alamo.
