Fun... fun... fun!
Fun and celebration... A perfect description of Ross and Jackie's wedding. Oh, did I leave out elegant?
From the ceremony, bathed in candlelight at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian church with beautiful, original music full of intricate harmonies, to the reception at Ross' grandmother's house on the western brow of Lookout Mountain, everything about their wedding was thoughtful and thoroughly exquisite. Then their party lasted late into the clear cool October evening, full of music, dancing, and exotic food provided by Lee Epting Catering.
Lots of good memories... Lots of great fun!

Jennifer and Jim
Congratulations Jim and Jennifer!
They are both attorneys. They met in their comings and goings to the courthouse. Jim sure knew a good thing when he saw it!
Their wedding at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church was graced by beautiful blue skies and cool temperatures. The only thing shining brighter than the September sun was her smile and her eyes! She and her bridesmaids had the most beautiful, fragrant bouquets we've seen (and smelled)... kudos to Jay at Ensign Flowers.
After their reception at the Walden Club they are off to their honeymoon and anticipating beginning their lives together when they return to their home on Signal Mountain.
How elegant and beautiful!

Joel and Carrie
We usually have known our couples and their families for many months before their wedding day. Not Carrie and Joel... they only came back to Chattanooga to get married!
They chose Lookout Mountain for their wedding, far from their families in Michigan and Wisconsin. But, she had attended Covenant College on Lookout Mountain and they were pulled by their memories and the mountain's beauty to celebrate the joining of their lives together.
It was a pleasure finally meeting their families and friends, and getting to know them. They came with high expectations for photography.
From the looks of these photographs, and the compliments from the families, I believe they will be thrilled, as are we.

Joan and Brian
Not all the weddings we photograph are large and involved. Joan and Brian's wedding was quiet and beautiful under the hot August sun inside the Humphrey's house at Reflection Riding. They were joined only by closest family and friends as they formally joined their lives.
I'm sure Joan's quick smile will bring joy and love into their new home.

Shay and Krista
With the southern Appalachians looming pale blue on the horizon in the east and the sun setting in the west, Shay and Krista laughed and cried through their vows at water's edge, surrounded by loved ones and friends. Krista's pure white gown set off her deep blue eyes and served as a contrast to the hot pink dresses she chose for her bridesmaids.
Check out the handcuffs!

Martin and Becky
Again, one wedding has come to us through another wedding... Jeannie photographed Becky's sister's wedding before we got together and were married. Alana and Ed's wedding was the first one that we both photographed, although I had
only a very minor part.
only a very minor part.
We are thrilled to have been part of Becky and Martin's special day... Hot, as it was. No rain. No bugs!
Becky chose a simple and elegant, diamond white gown, accented with a deep green sash. Because of her height, I guess she could have worn anything, but her choice was perfect for the outdoor setting at the Grandview on Lookout Mountain. Her flower girls were just too cute, dressed as fairies, complete with technicolor wings.
The party, overlooking the valley far below, glowed in the afternoon sun and carried into the night, lit by gas lights and powered by dancing, dancing, dancing.
They have flown away to the Florida Keys for a week of fun and diving.
