[ I can't believe how fast time is flying, as we approach Christmas this year! It seems only a moment ago that I made the last post to our blog. How could it have been on October 27th? ]
Kelly brought Ella and Baby Emory to us today... and what fun we had! Ella quickly became Jeannie's best buddy and was all smiles and didn't seem to stop talking the whole time we photographed her little sister.
They're just angelic... and these are only a few of the fantastic photographs we caught!

Sometimes things just work out...
I have been planning to photograph Brian and LaurelAnne for months. So, we confidently scheduled the photography to coincide with the leaf change and of course when the day approached to photograph, the weather turned sour. I called her and on the spur of the moment she was able to change her plans to take advantage of a gorgeous afternoon, instead of 100% predicted rain. Yay for us!
The kids had a great time at the farm, playing in the water and playing with the animals. I got great portraits of them.
AnneG has wanted a portrait for her home that captures her beautiful children, as well as honoring her family's farm heritage. She is going to LOVE them. I can't wait for her to see them all...

Greg and Kristin
Who authorized the COLD weather to move in the day before Kristin's and Greg's wedding? The foothills of the Smokies on the banks of the Ocoee River were more than a bit chilly!
The weather was chilly, but the friendships and love warmed everyone. Kristin just snuggled closer. The portable heaters (Smart!) and the bonfire drew their guests like moths to flames, and the hand warmers were big hits.
How appropriate that they headed to warm Key West (Mmmmm...) for their Honeymoon!

Meredith and Matt's Wedding Day
It's been a while since we photographed at Laurelwood. Larry Bannier, the owner, really does it right! ...And the weather was spectacular!
Matt and Meredith are enveloped in the love of their families. Matt really got it right when he moved south for a life changing experience, going to work as a river guide on the French Broad River, meeting Meredith, falling in love, and marrying her.
Meredith was stunning, and perhaps would be more comfortable in the raft on the river, frantically paddling through the whitewater. However, she was up to the pomp and the celebration. ... and the smile in her eyes says it all!

2009 Chattanooga Cotton Ball
This year the Chattanooga Cotton Ball Association celebrates Seventy-five years.
King Nelson Bowers and Queen Mallie Stout presided over the festivities. Past Queens and Kings were invited and were presented and honored during the evening.
Both Nelson's and Maille's families came to the party.
The scepter was passed to Queen Mallie by 2008 Queen Ellis Phillips to begin the evening.

Laura and Jonathan
How beautiful Laura and Jon's wedding was! Beautiful weather, beautiful church, beautiful reception. ...just beautiful! ...and fun!
Sophia was absolutely gorgeous as Laura's flowergirl... even if she was a bit intimidated by all her admirers.
Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church on Lookout Mountain
Laura and Jon are great together.... he keeps her on her toes!
Framed and ready for a honeymoon in Negril.
Come home safe!
